Reimbursement
Since I am a member of the professional organisation CAT*, most health insurance companies cover part of my treatment. The insurers offering cover are listed here. My treatments fall into the category of body-oriented psychotherapy (code 24513). You do not need a referral from your GP to make an appointment. The deductible does not apply to consultations at De Rijzende Feniks.
Changing or cancelling appointments
If you make an appointment, I will reserve my time and space for you. You may change or cancel your appointment up to 48 hours in advance. If you do so between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment, you will be charged 50% of the fee. For a change or cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full fee.
Payment
The treatment fees can be paid preferably by debit card or in cash. You will receive an invoice after each consultation. If you have cover, you can submit this to your health insurer.

Complaints
As a CAT therapist, under the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz), I am subject to the right of complaint with the Dutch Alternative Therapists’ Dispute Authority (Geschilleninstantie Alternatieve Therapeuten or GAT). GAT is a government-recognised and completely independent Wkkgz dispute authority. For more information about my complaints procedure (in Dutch), please go to https://gatgeschillen.nl/.
